Firstly I would like to thank Dawn for finding myself and my wife our dream home.

At first I was reluctant to meet Dawn after my wife told me that she was not an estate agent but a property advisor and I did not understand why I would need to use her services.

After our meeting with Dawn we decided to solely use her to help us find our new home.

After visiting Javea a few times we fell in love with the place and gave Dawn our price, type and area of property we required. From then on Dawn sorted everything out from the viewings, negotiations, lawyers, signing for the property and getting NIE numbers.

Dawn is a lovely lady that works solely for you and she will tell you all the pros and cons of the property which the estate agent does not.

Dawn went through a personal tragedy while we were in Javea viewing properties and we were not going to bother her but even through this trying time she was as professional as ever.

Dawn is now our friend and we cannot thank her enough for helping us finding our lovely home and we would thoroughly recommend Javea Casas services to anyone wishing to buy in Javea.

After dreaming for many years about a Home in the Sun, we started browsing the Internet on a cold and rainy Sunday in April. We came across Dawn and Steve’s website, decided on a shortlist of 6 properties and booked our flights to Alicante. We met with Dawn at Barclays Bank in Javea, and being completely new to the area, Dawn took us under her wings and drove us to all the houses we planned to view, and showed us some nice parts of Javea.

We wasted very little time and found a villa that fitted all our criteria. After Dawn explained to us how the buying process works, we felt confident to make an offer. After this was accepted Dawn helped us further with the process of liaising with the lawyer and dealt very efficiently with the many questions that we had along the way.

When we came back for completion all the arrangements with the NIE office, the Bank and the Notario had been made, which made the whole process relatively stress free.

We have been very impressed with the friendly and efficient service we have received from Javea Casas, and feel that with Dawn’s help we have found a lovely home inSpain.

My wife and I decided to purchase a property in Javea just prior to Christmas.  Having never purchased property overseas, we both felt very nervous and didn't really know where to start.  We had looked at hundreds of properties on line and the thought of going over to view all of these was very daunting.  That was until I contacted Dawn and Steve who immediately offered me honest and considered advise.  They guided us through the entire process, from "weeding out" properties that would not have met our initial requirements, to the final day of signing. Dawn arranged for all the viewings with the various estate agents, collected us from our hotel in Javea and ferried us to all the properties, never once trying to sell anything, just sound solid and friendly advice given in a very patient and professional manner.  They really do have your interests at heart and the time saved by using Dawn and Steve´s services was invaluable to us.

Following this we returned to the UK to consider the options for several months and when we returned to Javea, Dawn was there for us again, taking us to the solicitors and to the next town to obtain the appropriate documentation.  All of their time and efforts are free of charge! 

Dawn and Steve's knowledge of the area and the buying process was outstanding.  The Spanish (English speaking) solicitor and the UK currency exchange company recommended by Dawn were excellent.  I would recommend Javea Casas to anyone who wants a stress-free and painless overseas conveyance, they truly were outstanding.

Buying a house abroad is always daunting and like most people we started searching for our ideal house in Javea by browsing on the Internet.  Luckily for us we stumbled across the Javea Casas website and after our initial enquiry Dawn Nott was very quick to reply. We spoke by phone and we felt instantly reassured as Dawn explained the buying process in Spain. She has many years of experience in purchasing properties which fills you with confidence.
Once we had explained to Dawn our "wish list" she helped us to short list some properties from Javea Casas huge selection.  Next came house viewings which Dawn coordinated so as we would waste no time during our short visits. Dawn listened to our wishes and hence the visits evolved during the day until she showed us our "dream home". We really would not have found our house without Dawn´s help, but the help did not stop there. Dawn continued to help us through every stage of securing and purchasing our property. She has many useful contacts and is always very quick to reply to any enquiries. We would definitely recommend Javea Casas to all of our friends and family and to anyone wishing to buy in Javea.

We both feel that we really struck lucky when we decided to use Steve and Dawn at Javea Casas to help us find a house in Javea.  We already had an apartment in Javea and after 10 years we were very sure which areas of Javea we wanted to consider when looking for a house.  Prior to our visit to view properties, we were sent details of a number of properties in our chosen areas from which we were able to select a short list to view.  When we arrived in Javea Steve was not available, so we met with Dawn.  She always arrived promptly and proved to be an excellent guide to the properties we visited.  We really felt that she had taken our very specific requirements on board and all the properties we were shown fitted the bill with regard to price as well as location, size etc.  We really felt that we wasted no time at all.  There was no attempt to encourage us to spend more than we were comfortable with and Dawn was always pleasant, friendly and above all professional with both the vendors and ourselves.  She was very definitely looking out for us, even to the point of highlighting the occasional downsides of a property that we had missed in our excitement over it´s more positive elements. We found a property that fitted the bill and are very happy with the excellent service we experienced from Javea Casas and Dawn.

For a number of years now we have dreamed about buying a property in the Javea region of Spain we have grown to love having spent a number of enjoyable family holidays there. In 2012 we were finally in a position to make this a reality but found the prospect of searching and completing on a property fairly daunting due to the language barrier and unfamiliarity with the Spanish property purchase process. Finding Steve and Dawn was an absolute god send! They were so helpful every step of the way which for us comprised the following logical steps:
 
Property shortlisting
There is such a large choice of properties when searching property web sites that we were finding it difficult to shortlist. Using Steve and Dawns many years local knowledge they were able via email and phone to our UK home advise us of which properties met our search criteria and which didn’t…..importantly they were able to advise how long properties had been on the market and what problems came with certain properties that we could not ascertain from an online property description i.e. dampness, overpriced, inappropriate location, lack of sunshine, internal space too small etc. Since flying is expensive this filtering service enabled us to compile a shortlist of properties that closely matched our requirements to ensure best use of the short time we had was maximised.
 
Property Viewings
Once we had our shortlist Steve and Dawn set about planning our viewing. If we had done this ourselves we would have struggled to plan this with logistical efficiency due to our unfamiliarity with where each property was located relative to one another. Their local knowledge enabled them to plan our visits with minimal travelling distance between each thus maximising the number of property we could see in one day. Also they kindly provided the transportation which avoided us having to rely on our own sense of direction and avoided fuel costs.
 
Property Purchase
Dawn and Steve have a wide range of trusted contacts from lawyers to currency companies and were able to put us in touch with people that could assist with the purchase of the villa we eventually purchased (the last one viewed on our list!). The Spanish lawyer proved to be very efficient, professional and importantly personable. Also the process for obtaining the required NIE numbers for anyone purchasing a property in Spain is a very manual process which involves attending in person at the local government office in Denia. Again Dawn took us straight to where we needed to go (we would never of found it!) and subsequently the same with the notary office and was there to walk us through the whole process.
 
Both Steve and Dawn also speak fluent Spanish and we don’t (!) so overcoming the language barrier also made the process a lot easier for us.
 
Summary
We cannot thank Steve and Dawn enough for all of their help, in our view the process would have been much more protracted, expensive and frustrating without them and we consider ourselves lucky to have come across their services which cut out all of the ‘trial and error’ due to our inexperience. They are people with integrity and enthusiasm for genuinely helping through the maze of requirements and we lost count of the amount of times they went the ‘extra mile’ for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services as we take ownership of our lovely villa in the sunshine hassle free!

I have recently completed on a house in Javea and I can not recommend Javea Casas enough.  From my initial enquiry through arranging contacts for maintenance, Dawn and Steve Nott have been on hand to give advice and assist. One can draw on their experience and knowledge of the area. The Notts have been professional and efficient yet friendly, and have armed me with the confidence to go through the buying  process - a process which can be quite daunting for the first-time purchaser in a different country!

Now that we are proud owners of an apartment in Javea we can say a big thank-you to javeacasas.com in helping our purchase become a reality.
Steve has given us his time, his wealth of local knowledge and maintained a positive outlook when we thought we would never find our ideal property. 
We saw plenty of properties, never felt pressured to buy and were encouraged not to settle for a property that was nearly right, but didn't have that "we love it " factor.

We stumbled over Javea Casas as we were preparing to contact agents to set up a property finding trip to Javea. It is a beautiful area which we had fallen in love with on previous holidays.
