We started to look for a villa in the Javea area in September 2011, initially independently contacting Estate Agents. We found Steve and Dawn’s details and decided to ask for their support. We were not sure of the specific area we wanted and consequently asked to see more than 100 villas over about 6 visits. Steve and Dawn managed to put together schedules to meet our availability and did all the juggling to make our life easy, also taxiing us throughout the viewings. They have always been very patient in trying to satisfy our demanding requirements. They were always ready with advice and checked out many details for us in advance, always responding swiftly. They arranged for a builder to visit a number of possible villas with us to get estimates of refurbishment costs. We finally decided on a villa and again Steve and Dawn helped and guided us through the completion process, working with the Abogado they recommended. We are delighted with our new villa, which I’m sure we wouldn’t have found and bought without their help Steve and Dawn are very professional in all they do, they are also a delightful couple who we now count as friends. I would unhesitatingly recommend Javea Casas services to anyone searching for a villa in the Javea area. Steve and Dawn do a fantastic job of making the entire search and purchase process as easy as possible, holding your hand throughout what can often be a stressful and problem loaded time.

 "Wij zijn zeer tevreden over JAVEACASAS. Steve heeft ons voortreffelijk geholpen in onze zoektocht naar een plekje onder de zon. Hij heeft ons twee dagen meegenomen op sleeptouw in Javea en omgeving. Steve pastte zijn lijst met te bezoeken villa’s aan in functie van onze opmerkingen. Zodoende hebben wij veel tijd gewonnen. De werkwijze van Steve is uniek. Hij verdedigt de belangen van de koper en regelt uiteindelijk zijn tussenkomst met de makelaar die door de verkoper werd aangesteld. We hebben vastgesteld dat Steve op die manier samenwerkt met de belangrijkste makelaars. Derhalve is zijn aanbod zeer groot. Zijn website spreekt voor zich. Tenslotte heeft Steve ons bijgestaan in de Spaanse administratieve "black box” (NIE-nummers, notaris, enz…). Dit hebben we ten zeerste geapprecieerd.

 "We are very pleased with JAVEACASAS. Steve has helped us excellently in our quest for a place in the sun. He has taken us for two days around Javea and the surrounding area. Steve had provided a list of suggestions of villas to visit, in accordance with of our comments for our requirements. Thus, we have saved a lot of time. In this way Steve is unique. He defends the interests of the buyer and ultimately arranges his intervention with the broker who was appointed by the seller. We found that in this way Steve works with the majority of brokers. Therefore, his supply of property is very large. His website speaks for itself. Finally, Steve has assisted us in the Spanish administrative "black box” (NIE numbers, notary, etc …). We were looking to buy a property in Spain and did a search over the Internet.  www.javeacasas.com was one of the best, as it gave a great range of properties for sale with multiple estate agents.  We contacted Steve who showed us around villas which suited our needs.  We found one within a weekend which was perfect. We had great service throughout and even the after care service was amazing.  Steve and Dawn even showed us around local retailers where we could purchase kitchen equipment and they made it very easy to contact them throughout.  We are looking forward to spending holidays in the villa and if I was to purchase another villa in the area, I would not hesitate to use Dawn and Steve at Javea Casas.

We had made the decision to buy a holiday home in Spain and that Javea would be the place. We had a few holidays there, but really very little knowledge of the various areas that made up Javea. We looked on the internet and contacted a couple of estate agents, they were fairly helpful, then we contacted Javea Casas and found that Dawn was just so helpful. She explained the benefits of working with her and Steve, it all sounded brilliant we wondered if it was too good to be true – but they were fantastic. This was a whole new experience for us and Dawn took all the hard work out of the whole process with shortlisting the properties and sorting out the ones that were not suitable, organising and scheduling viewings. She had driven the route and planned out our days to save precious time while we were there and we certainly didn’t expect a chauffeur but was extremely grateful. When we found a beautiful property that was perfect for us Dawn and Steve again helped us every step of the way, there were times when we had a few wobbles but with Dawns practical, calming and helpful attitude we got through it and are now the proud owners of the perfect villa. We did not expect the service that Dawn and Steve provided but with their help, experience, knowledge and contacts it made the process so simple and a pleasure, quite unlike the normal hassle of buying a property and we would recommend them every time. "In early 2011 I embarked on a search for a holiday home in Javea. Being a very fussy customer, after many months and a few disappointments along the way I found exactly the right place and am now the very proud owner of a wonderful apartment exactly where I want to be! Throughout this time, Javeacasas and in particular Dawn Nott has been literally by my side, researching, sorting out appointments, driving me all over Javea and generally providing fantastic advice and support, whether in Javea itself, or by email. I had never purchased a property overseas before and was a little apprehensive going into the process. I had also never been to Javea so wasn’t very knowledgeable about the local area and the types of properties that may be available. After searching for property agencies on the internet I stumbled across the Javea Casas website and once I made contact with Steve and Dawn the whole process was much easier and they were able to put my mind at rest about the complexities of purchasing there. I gave Steve the features of the type of property I was looking for and he had a list made up before I arrived which filled 2 days of searching. Throughout the whole process I felt no pressure to choose any one property and Steve always emphasised I should be patient until I find the right one. He was very much on my side, acting on my behalf through the viewings, the negotiations and the purchase after the offer was accepted. As a result I felt relaxed about taking my time and became the owner of a beautiful villa which is exactly what I was looking for. He has also lived in the area for over 20 years and has immense local knowledge he is always willing to share. However, that was only the beginning of Steve’s assistance in this process. He introduced me to a lawyer with whom I am extremely happy – the lawyer was efficient, friendly and vastly experienced in dealing with such purchases. I had also been told by another agent the process of obtaining a NIE number in Denia would take 2 to 3 weeks and would require a further visit – Steve sorted that out in a couple of hours and personally went to collect the paperwork on my behalf. Furthermore, since the purchase he has been extremely helpful in putting me into contact with trustworthy people to help me take care of the property, install security etc. I can say without reservation that the help I received and continue to receive from Steve and Dawn has been invaluable and without them I doubt whether I would have even completed a purchase, let alone have a property that perfectly fits my criteria going into the search. I’m extremely grateful for their help over the past 12 months and have no hesitation in recommending their services and local knowledge to anyone thinking of buying property in the Javea area.

We were looking for a holiday home in Spain and, having visited friends in their villa in Jávea, we decided to look around for a property in the area ourselves. As a family with teenagers we felt that Jávea, with its beautiful Old Town, attractive Port and lively Arenal, had something for all of us. Our first step was to look on the Internet and our search came up with a baffling number of properties and areas. Amongst the sites though we found Jávea Casas and got in touch with Steve Nott. He responded to our enquiry quickly and seemed quite promising. Having bought abroad before we were a little cautious. However Steve sounded as though he knew the market well and appreciated what we were looking for in terms of price, accommodation and area. Over the next few weeks he sent us details of houses and villas that he thought might interest us, until we had put together a shortlist of about 25. At that point we flew to Jávea and spent two and a half days with Steve. He had arranged viewings and gave us a tour of the area as well as a great deal of valuable information, tips and recommendations about life in and around Jávea. Of the many villas we saw with Steve, we liked two in particular and decided to put in an offer on one of them. Negotiations foundered so we moved onto our other choice which was successful. In less than 2 months we have become the owners of a beautiful villa in Jávea. We have had no unwelcome surprises and the whole process has gone remarkably smoothly. Steve helped us with setting up a bank account and obtaining the necessary NIF numbers and was able to put us in touch with a very good Spanish solicitor. At the outset we were worried not only about complications and legalities of buying in Spain but also about being subjected to hard-sell tactics. Steve’s approach however was helpful and informative but also laid-back and without pressure. He gave advice but not opinions so the decision was very much ours. Whatever he promised he delivered and we found him to be reliable and true to his word. We would have no hesitation in recommending Steve. His knowledge and experience were invaluable to us.

My husband and I had been thinking about purchasing a home in Spain for a few years and we spent a week in Javea a few years back and thought it was a wonderful place so we concentrated our search to Javea. I spent hours on the computer looking at homes, but I wasn't sure how to go about seeing many houses in a short space of time. I came across Steve's website, www.javeacasas.com and contacted him, as well as other companies, and Steve was actually the only one who got back to me. We booked our flight to Spain and wasn't sure what to expect from Steve, but it was such a pleasant surprise. He had organised appointments to view approximately 20 homes over 4 days. It was all very pleasant and he also took us around on a mini sightseeing tour. He was always very patient and never forced his opinion upon us but at the same time he was very happy to answer all our questions. We found a lovely home in Javea and we are really enjoying it here in the sunshine. He introduced us to several people who i.e. helped us to buy the property in a very safe way and later after moving in he gave me numbers to electrcians, plumbers etc. and they have all been great. A very big Thank you to both Steve and Dawn for wonderful service.
