Despite being so popular with tourists and holiday home owners alike, Javea has largely remained unspoilt. Thanks to it´s strict building regulations there are no high rise buildings and Javea’s valley remains covered in orange groves, scenting the area with citrus and providing a green backdrop to the area. It is also surrounded by two large national parks, Granadella and Montgó.
