Javea's close neighbour, Benitachell

Benitachell is located only 10 minutes by car from both Javea and Moraira. With it´s narrow streets, a daily indoor market from Monday to Saturday, a weekly outdoor market, local restaurants, bars, shops and banks etc., this all adds to the feeling that Benitachell has been lost in the modern world of larger towns in the area. The quaint and small town centre of Benitachell still looks as it did many years ago when we first visited in the 1980´s. It is a lovely, friendly and welcoming town, hardly touched by tourism in the high season summer months.

Situated only a 10 minute drive from Javea, Benitachell offers a fantastic location, to be close to the beaches and touristic towns, yet just a stone´s throw away in a quiet location, which is great for full time living and holidays.

Visitors and full time residents in Benitachell can benefit greatly from the attractions and activities close by. Golf fans are well catered for as the local course CLUB DE GOLF JÁVEA is in the area, only 5 minutes by car from Benitachell village.

There is plenty to choose from, including tapas, snacks, paella and rice dishes, “a la carte” meal choices and the popular “menu del día” a three course meal with a selection of dishes offered at a very reasonable price.
