El Gaucho restaurant, Javea / Xabia

El Gaucho restaurant in Javea, is located on the Jesus Pobre road, in the area of the prestigious Montgó residential area.

The restaurant used to be called Las Brisas of Javea some years ago, before the current owners bought the premises. It belongs to the same family which owns the Restaurante Pizzeria Pepa, on the Arenal sandy beach of Javea. Both are excellent restaurants.

We have visited El Gaucho numerous times, from when they first opened 2011. Each visit has been a delight. There is a “menu del dia”, a menu of the day, with a number of choices to include three courses for a fixed price. At lunchtime they usually include 1/2 litre of wine per person. During the evenings, the wine is charged as an extra.

Fish, lamb and steaks are cooked to perfection over a wood-fired grill, open to the restaurant area. The service, food and surroundings are excellent. The building has lots of character and your experience will be delightful in every way.
