What a pleasure it was to meet Dawn after valuations from many of the larger estate agents.  She truly understood that our Finca was different, old and still with many of the original features. She did her homework, a detailed research of other similar properties. Came back with a good valuation based on solid facts so we therefore put it on the market with Dawn (Javea Casas) in 2020.

It didn’t take her long to establish interest with many viewings almost immediately. Her professionalism both with us and with clients went above and beyond our expectations. Even though we were back in the UK due to Covid and couldn’t get back to Spain Dawn continued to make sure the house and garden were still up to standard for every viewing.  Achieving a sale and completion in a truly professional manner. Our experience buying a property with Dawn was a revelation. Such a different experience to past estate agents whether in Spain or in Guernsey. She was so helpful in checking out each property in advance before we flew out for a 5 day visit last May. She checked each and every property (there were quite a few) for its exact location on google maps and advising us thereon, which saved us so much time and avoided disappointment.

Dawn´s success is that she listens, lets you take your time and gently steers you in the right direction. No pressure and second viewings were all done during our short visit. We have been lucky enough to find our forever home In Javea which was all down to Dawn and her contacts in the Javea area. Unlike most estate agents we’ve dealt with in the past Dawn (Javea Casas) is able to liaise with quite a few other larger estate agents on your behalf and be by your side whilst you view their properties. We found this really helpful in making our decision.

Dawn was also there for us on the day of purchase, helping liaise with the Notary etc, all above and beyond what we expected.

Dawn is that very unusual thing - a totally honest estate agent. She worked with us for 18 months, telling us frankly that the houses we asked her about wouldn't suit us and what was wrong with them. She only suggested houses that were completely in line with our list of requirements. As we were living close on 800 km away her help was essential. When she found a house that perfectly matched our requirements she visited it on our behalf and told us with complete honesty what would need to be done to get it up to scratch. She followed the progress of the house and told us the instant that the price was reduced to what she thought was the correct value. Without her help we would never have found this house and we have spent the last 3 months happily sorting it out.

It should also be said that Dawn has a group of people who are equally excellent at their jobs. Through her we have benefited from excellent financial and practical advice. She recommended the removal company who brought us here in a smooth and professional manner.

In September 2018 we went to Javea for a weekend and we visited multiple houses with Dawn.  From the very beginning it was very nice to work with Dawn.   She is very organized and communicates in a nice way (quick in responding) and has a thorough knowledge of the area and the housing market. 

We had done a lot of research on the areas and houses we wanted to visit.  In that weekend we found our dream villa.  Dawn assisted / advised us with all our requests / questions from the very early stage until the date we signed the official documents and got the keys of our villa.  She helped us finding the right people in the area for all sorts of work and she has a great network of useful people, shops, etc. 

We would highly recommend Dawn. She is a role model and has excellent communication & organization skills.  The whole buying process has been really nice for us.

Our first trip to Javea was in early February, to meet a local agent who sadly showed us properties all above our budget, despite our being quite firm about that issue before our arrival. We found a house we liked, and put in a hesitant offer, but then we received at the ninth hour, a phone call from a friend of a friend, living in Javea, who said 'don’t do anything at all until you have met our friend Dawn Nott. She is an independent agent and will tell you the truth about all the properties you like, not just for a commission'. So we decided against the first house, returned to Javea and met the lovely Dawn, who from the first moment, proved to be the best person we could possibly have chosen to help us find a new home. Kindness and patience should be Dawn’s middle names. Having been told by the first agent that we would never find any property in our budget range, Dawn found scores of them and so we had a far more successful second trip, and were able to make a decision without any pressure from her, just good advice. Dawn’s strength is her vast knowledge of the area and the tradesmen who would be able to help us settle in, plus her generosity of spirit in giving us time and time again, all the information we needed about all manner of things. I have several friends who are contemplating a move to Javea and I will give them all Dawn’s contact details. I would never want them to deal with anyone else but this lovely lady who really is a gift to future Javea homeowners.

I had been to Javea a few times and fell in love with this beautiful part of Spain. I met some nice people here, they bought an apartment in Javea. They told me that Dawn Nott helped them so very good. I decided to meet her and see some houses.

When I met her for me it was so positive that she was so relaxed and calm. Never trying to push me in any way. She helped me with all my questions and when we went to see a property she let me look around on my own. She was always there if I needed her.

Finally yesterday, also with the help of Robban Jansson from Villa Jansson, and Becky, I bought my own little dream villa in Benitachell.

The nice thing is that Dawn also lives in Benitachell so I think that she and I will see each other on regular basis.

If you decide to buy a property you could not be in better hands !!!
