Trust the AA to provide a handy travel kit to cover almost every emergency whether you are travelling in the UK or abroad. From a torch to a tow-rope or a first aid kit to a footpump this comprehensive kit contains 18 products including a stylish carry bag that can be easily stored in your boot. KIT CONTENTS:

Carry Bag with Velcro non-slip pads

Made from strong polyester canvas material, this useful bag is designed to be kept in your boot. It has practical Velcro pads on the base and on one side, to help secure it to your boot carpet. The bag will tidily contain all of the items listed below:

First Aid Kit

A vital component to the overall kit, this convenient soft zipper bag contains dressings, plasters, scissors and an emergency foil blanket.

High Viz Vests

The Emergency Breakdown Kit contains TWO high visibility vests, as this is now a requirement in some EU countries.

Reflective Arm Bands

These armbands are for other passengers in your vehicle and provide high visibility to drivers in darkness.

Magnetic GB Badge for Europe

This is a magnetic version of a GB sticker, for fitting on the rear of your vehicle. It requires magnetic adhesion and so is not suitable for vehicles with a boot or tailgate panel not made from steel. The badge is compulsory for vehicles without the blue and gold GB shown on the new Euro number plates introduced in March 2001. Failure to comply with this could result in an on-the-spot fine in some EU countries. In some countries outside the EU, a conventional sticker is required even if you have euro-plates. With this in mind, it is always safer to display one.

Headlamp Converters For Europe

These converters are for adjusting your headlamps for driving on the right-hand side of the road and they adjust the beam pattern, which is different to those fitted to European left-hand-drive vehicles. When driving to the Continent, you must adjust the headlamp beam pattern to suit driving on the right so that the dipped beam does not dazzle oncoming drivers. This is a compulsory requirement in most countries. Please note that modern high-intensity discharge (HID) or xenon headlights cannot be adapted with this product. Fortunately, many feature an internal “shutter” that can be moved into place by a screw or lever adjustment at the back of the headlamp unit. Some designs are less convenient than others and your dealer will need to make the adjustment. Remember to remove the converters as soon as you return to the UK..

Disposable Camera with Flash

This easy-to-use camera is for emergency use in the event of an accident. It comes with a flash and contains a 12-exposure film. The whole camera is given to a film processing shop to develop in the normal way.

Hazard Warning Triangle

A legal requirement in most countries, this model is EC approved and comes in a protective plastic container. It is worth noting that, in Spain, one warning triangle is compulsory for non Spanish registered vehicles and two for Spanish registered vehicles. However, drivers of non Spanish registered vehicles should consider carrying two triangles as, regardless of regulations, local officials may impose on the spot fines if there is only one.

Emergency Glass Hammer

This is for breaking side window glass in the event of an emergency, following an accident. A cutter blade is also included, sunk into the handle, which will cut through a seatbelt to assist release if necessary.
